Item Title
Discuss and consider proposal from Mixon and Associates for lobbying services
Issue/Rationale
Mixon and Associates has put together a proposal to provide legislative services to the school district. The packets were distributed by Chairman Vallencourt at the July 19, 2007 meeting for review by board members and further consideration.
The school district will continue to set its own priorities and direct overall governmental efforts. Meanwhile, Mixon and Associates will act as a voice of the school district in Tallahassee.
Recommended Action
At the School Board's discretion.
Financial Impact
The base fee structure for the contract is $24,900 payable in twelve monthly installments of $2,075.
